Support and guidance for those on the healer & helper path

I would not be where I am in my practice and business if it wasn’t for the aide of friends, colleagues, and mentors. When my schedule allows, I like to offer this back to my extended community.

These sessions are for clinicians, body-based practitioners, coaches, birthworkers, and spiritual teachers. Working with fellow practitioners and watching the unfolding of their practice is a joy I hold dear. I very much feel like we do this work in community and don’t position myself as an expert, but as a guide who might be able to support you in your unfolding.

A teacher once described “networking” as communally “working a net” (rather than the schmoozy way we’ve come to think of that word). In community, we each get to work our “corner of the net” and eventually build a strong system of support for ourselves and each other. This is my effort towards that end.

I’ve been in practice and in business for myself for the last 9 years and have changed hats a few times along the way. The practitioner path is one of many initiations and course corrects and is one of the most rewarding parts of my life.

Please come prepared with questions or a theme you’re wanting to work with. We might work in an embodied way or get very logistical depending on your needs and intentions for our time together.

Outlining this Work

My background is in birthwork, community organizing, group ritual work, somatic sex ed, The Hakomi Method, The Innate Somatic Intelligence Trauma Therapy Approach, and Embodied Ancestral Inquiry. I primarily work at the intersection of somatics, trauma healing, ritual practice, and cultural repair work. In these mentorship/consultation sessions I help fellow practitioners to:

  • Bring a sense of ethics and integrity into their work and practices; including learning how to check-in with themselves and pace

  • Find what training path to take including answering questions about Hakomi, Innate Somatic Intelligence Trauma Therapy Approach, Embodied Ancestral Inquiry, and any other trainings I’ve taken or have knowledge about

  • Decide what needs to unfold when at a stuck point in their career or practice

  • Learn how to work with the shaping of whiteness and white supremacy in white bodies

  • Basic website and newsletter support (this is for total newbies)

  • Find their seat as a practitioner and not get hooked into their clients’ experience

  • Decide whether the clinical/licensure route is the path for you and exploring alternatives

  • For clinicians, learning a more relational and systems based way of sitting in the seat

  • Integrating ancestral and lineage work into body-based therapies

  • Bringing an understanding of how living under systems of domination and oppression affects bodies and moving from the lens of healing being the responsibility of individuals into collective and community oriented healing

Pricing + Booking

Sessions are 60 minutes at $185*

This price point includes any follow up correspondence and any resources I may send your way

Sessions are held virtually through Zoom and you will be sent a Zoom link and calendar invite upon booking. All sessions are in Pacific Time.

Please note I have a 24 hour cancellation policy.

A Note on Scope

I’m often asked if I teach somatics to practitioners or clinicians- I might offer a practice or talk about my approach to somatics, but these sessions are not to teach somatics to practitioners. If that’s something you’re interested in, I can point you in the direction of trainings you might enjoy.

Similarly, I do not teach The Hakomi Method at this point in time.

I do not offer certification or supervision. Asking about a theme that comes up in session often with clients, shame for example, is perfectly acceptable- but regular supervision is not something I’m equipped to provide.
