Core Values in Practice

Something most of my clients are searching for is how to feel safe in their bodies. How to safely be in relationship with other people and with themselves. Providing a safe container that is client-led, nonviolent, and spacious is a foundational aspect of my work regardless of which “hat” I'm wearing.

Common themes my clients struggle with are relearning how to appreciate and connect with their bodies, working through past and/or complex trauma, reworking their intimacy patterns, taking back their sovereignty after sexual or spiritual abuse, and/or learning how to connect with the Earth and their ancestry. If you are experiencing any of this or any variation of it I want you to know that you can find your way back to equilibrium and where you are now is not where you will always be. And if we aren’t the right fit for each other or you’re in need of something outside of what I offer, know that I will refer you to someone who can help.

Our experience in our bodies does not exist in a vacuum.
We have to take the socio-economic structures into account in our lives. Living under capitalism, the cis-hetero patriarchy, and white supremacy affects us all. We need to ask ourselves: Where do we have privilege and where are we oppressed? What does that look like for the people around us as well as for ourselves? How are we using our healing to further the healing of the collective and move away from toxic individualism? These larger themes are explored when we work together as well. The micro is the macro and vice versa.

I truly believe the work that I do with clients is a reciprocal relationship.
We learn from each other and I appreciate radical honesty and feedback - this is where the real alchemy work happens.

Reciprocity Practices:
In addition to my 1:1 work, I offer a few low-cost classes and a newsletter that’s full of resources. I also offer sliding scale to those with less access to resources. A percentage of what I make monthly goes towards funding Black midwives and/or QTBIPOC futures.
